Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films in addition to a few Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress as the actress Savitri in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). The film also won three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. She also received the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents are filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her early career was as an actor for children. After completing her studies in fashion design, she re-entered acting. She starred in her debut major part on screen in Geethaanjali (2013) which was an Malayalam movie. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy made her debut on Tamil projects in 2015 and began accepting projects out of Malayalam. Although the movie did poorly in the theaters, her debut film came from A. A. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in alongside Vikramprabhu. To make room for larger projects due to her hectic schedule, she opted from a few films which she then began working on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romantic comedy) as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She consequently was involved in two projects in collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the leading part for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film's release was delayed in 2015 and is now expected to be after September 2020. It'll have an entirely different name Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), which featured Ram Pothineni as the actor was Keerthy's debut. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa with actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan. She appeared in Tamil film Paambhu satai and Telugu film Nenu Local both in 2017.
