Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. The singer combines soul gospel jazz with R&B for a distinctive mixture. From Broadway to European festival and clubs, the singer has done work across the globe. Sunshine's real name is Denise White. She hails from Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her music career playing the piano and singing in the church. Her musical career began in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals"Stalk You A House 12 came out only in Japan. The song has been remixed many times, and is the mainstay in her live performance. The Fighting Temptations was the another soundtrack on which she sang. The year 2005 saw Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage play Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her vocals, asked Sunshine to join the Dreamgirls production at the Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine received national attention during her four daily performances in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She was then invited to perform during President Obama's 2009 inauguration.
