Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz, professionally referred to as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents named her Winona for her home town. Michel Horowitz was her father and Cynthia Palmer, his mother are both authors as well as editors. Ryder, who considers herself Jewish and descends from Ryder's Jewish father. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's family relocated from Mendocino County in California, when she was just seven years old. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder read a lot because of the lack of television. When she turned twelve, Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986, was her first major part. Ryder was 15 when she got it. Ryder suffered bullying in high school. She hoped that her acting career would alter the way she dealt with bullying. However, it didn't come to pass. However, she kept working towards her goals. It was 1988 the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that she got her big break. Ryder continued to play success in roles. In 1993, he was nominated twice for Academy Awards.
